Geoff Collins began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 1997 with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in West Palm Beach, FL. In 1999, Geoff moved to Atlanta where he joined FSC Securities. He was a Branch Office Compliance Examiner and Supervisor. He later took on the role of Associate Regional Business Manager for the Southeast Region of FSC Securities.

He moved to Wilmington in 2004 and joined Wachovia Securities, later to become Wells Fargo Advisors as a Senior Registered Client Associate. He served in this capacity for 8 years.

Geoff joined The Murchison Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in April 2013. Geoff’s belief is that every client be served with the same professionalism and integrity regardless of the size of their account. His desire to help others become great stewards of their financial resources is a natural fit with Financial Advisor, Reid Murchison, and the rest of The Murchison Group.

He and his family are regular attendees of Port City Community Church, where he and his wife are actively involved in service. Outside of work, he enjoys challenging his mind by reading books about theology and challenging himself physically by participating in triathlons.

He is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where he received a BS in Industrial Engineering and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Geoff and his family are actively involved in church and service work. He sits on the board for Weekend Meals on Wheels and helps to organize the annual Taste of Wrightsville Beach charity event. Outside of work, Geoff enjoys surfing at sunrise, connecting with friends, reading nonfiction, and spending time with his wife and children.
